    You are required to register for conference if you present a poster.  However, please wait to register until your abstract/poster is accepted.  If your poster is accepted, you will receive a coupon code for 25% off your registration.  If you register prior to your acceptance, you will forfeit this savings.

    All posters during the TGCPAA CME Conference for Advanced Practice Providers are for the purpose of professional education. Conference participants are invited to share innovative clinical techniques or research findings during the CME conference.  TGCPAA wants to highlight the scientific and research driven APPs in our community. Please note that you must be registered for the conference in order to be considered for poster presentation.

    Pharmaceutical companies are invited to participate in 2019 CME Conference for Advanced Practice Providers. Industry posters are exempt from scoring and will not be considered for awards.  Space is limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. Pharmaceutical posters will be displayed in an area separate from the conference sessions in accordance with ACCME guidelines.

    The call for abstracts will open on October 5, 2018 , and will close on March 1, 2019. Acceptance will be confirmed within 1-month of your submission.   

    Important Dates to Remember:

    Poster Abstract Submission deadline – February 15, 2019  NOW MARCH 1, 2019

    Notice of Poster Acceptance – within a month of your submission OR by March 15, 2019

    Conference dates: April 5-6TH, 2019

    Submission Guidelines:

    *  All abstracts must be received by February 15, 2019 for consideration for a poster.
    *  All abstracts must not be greater than 250 words.
    *  All posters must have at least 3 learning objectives.
    *  Proposals submitted to the TGCPAA Symposium may not be used for the promotion of commercial products or medications. Any proprietary interest in the material presented     must be indicated on the application and abstract submission. If the proposal is accepted, the author is required to disclose the proprietary information.
    *  All authors/presenters are required to complete a disclosure section upon acceptance into the conference.
    *  All poster abstracts are reviewed by the Conference planning committee for clarity, learning objectives, scientific rationale.
    *  Poster presentation schedule on Saturday at this time.   Please do not submit to present a poster unless you are able to present IN PERSON on the day of poster presentations.
    *  Poster presenters must be registered for the conference. You will be notified if you are a Friday or Saturday presenter. 
    *  Accepted poster presenters will receive 25% off their conference registration via a coupon code.
    *  Please do not register for the conference until you have been notified of poster acceptance.
    *  We will have voting for “PA favorite” and “Committee Favorite” following presentations with our judges.  
    *  Awards will be announced at the "end of conference and 34th year of TGCPAA reception" on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 5:30pm

    Poster Materials:

    • Easels will be provided for poster board. Boards are 8 feet wide and 4 feet high.

    • Presenters are responsible for printing their own poster. We strongly suggest that your poster be printed on a lighter colored background.

    • Poster set up with take place on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 7:00am to 10:30am.  

    • Poster Presentation times will depend on the number of poster entries and will be annouced as we get closer to conference.  

    • All presenters must be present to speak and present their poster on Saturday, April 6, 2019.  Times to be determined.
